A lot of people want to try their hand at making NFTs, but most aren’t artists by trade—they’re programmers or writers or just regular people who like making things. Beeple
Beeple is a digital artist who creates unique pieces of art by manipulating already-existing images. His work is sold on the blockchain, but it can also be found in traditional galleries like the Saatchi Gallery and Paddle8.
In addition to selling his work through these channels, Beeple has also been known to sell his own creations on the black market using the dApps built on top of Ethereum.
Mike Winkelmann (Beeple)
If you’ve been in the NFT space for a while, there’s a good chance you’ve heard of Mike Winkelmann (Beeple). He is the pseudonym of Michael Winklemann, a game designer and artist who specializes in creating virtual worlds. The name “Beeple” was derived from one of his previous projects called “Powersquid.”
In 2018, he launched two NFTs that were wildly popular on Enjin Coin – Cities and Skylines. These were followed by other successful pieces such as Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) and Battlestar Galactica Online. The popularity of these tokens has led to their value increasing over time as they become scarce or even rarer with each sale.

- followed by Halfaxa in 2010 and Visions in 2012. In 2015, she released Art Angels to critical acclaim; it was nominated for the Polaris Music Prize and won the Juno Award for Electronic Album of the Year.[2][3] Her most recent album Nonagon Infinity was released on April 8th 2016 via 4AD Records
Mike Winklemann
Mike Winklemann is a digital artist known for his contributions to the world of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). His work with NFTs has been featured by both the Museum of Modern Art and New York Times Magazine. He currently works as an Associate Professor at UC Berkeley, where he teaches courses on 3D modeling, video game design and virtual reality.
Pak
Pak is a collective of artists working in the field of digital art. The group is comprised of six individuals, and has been featured in The New York Times and The Atlantic, among other publications. Pak’s work is known for its use of color and pattern, as well as its focus on geometric shapes to create unique pieces that have been described as “highly stylized” by some critics.

Pak is an art collective founded in 2016 by Mike Winkelmann (Beeple) and Luchita Hurtado. The duo created Pak to help artists take their work to the next level, giving them tools and resources to grow their careers. The art world has taken notice of Pak’s success; they have worked with major brands like Nike, Adidas, Google and more than 100 others.
Luchita Hurtado (artist)
Luchita Hurtado is a Mexican-American artist known for her work in the Chicano art movement. She began her art career as an illustrator, but she quickly became more interested in abstract expressionism and surrealism.
Her most famous piece, “The Mirror” (1953), shows two dogs fighting each other while reflecting their own images on a mirror behind them. In this way, it explores how humans can be both their own worst enemies and their own best friends at once.
Another popular piece by Luchita Hurtado is “Tres Mujeres” (1989). It features three women who are dressed in red with blue hair so they look like they’re wearing masks or costumes—they could even be superheroes! The women hold hands together with one eye closed; this scene represents how important it is for people to stand together against injustice.*

Luchita Hurtado is a Mexican-American artist who was born and raised in California. She is known for her work with the Chicano movement, which started as a way to create art that represented Mexican Americans, as well as other people of color.
Hurtado was originally trained as an art teacher at California State University, Los Angeles before becoming one of the first female muralists in California. She has since worked on more than 100 murals throughout Southern California and taught many people how to make their own murals!
